Adrian Lee
Chief Executive Officer
Adrian is the Chief Executive Officer of YSC Partners and the founder of the company in 2021. Adrian is responsible for developing and executing on group growth and technology strategy, fund raising, product design and direct fulfilment of capital transactions for corporate clients.
Adrian is also the Founder of the Catalyst Group, a multi-award-winning real estate finance business originating in excess of a billion dollars per annum.
He has been in the property and financial services industries for over a decade in both client advisory and executive management roles.
David Salkinder
Managing Director, YSC Funds
David leads the YSC Funds business, responsible for building and strengthening relationships with clients and partners as well as strategy and execution of YSC’s principal activities originating Real Estate private credit and structured equity opportunities.
Prior to joining YSC Partners, David founded and built a venture debt business and before that was Chief Operating Officer of Credabl, the largest independent nonbank lender to medical professionals in Australia.
He brings over 16 years of finance experience having also previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Monash Private Capital, and Crescent Capital Partners in various roles across investing and lending.
Mike Sergent
Head of Credit & Asset Management
Mike is the Head of Credit & Asset Management at YSC Partners and is responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate exposures, and providing in-depth guidance on the credit assessment and structuring of new debt and equity opportunities.
Mike’s previously held senior credit roles at National Australia Bank and Metrics Credit Partners prior to commencing at YSC Partners.
His extensive experience in the CRE sector has spanned a diverse range of senior roles in portfolio & risk management, loan origination & execution, and debt restructuring. He has been an integral part of the origination and execution of a high volume of mid-market property transactions, in addition to the ongoing management of CRE loan portfolios through a range of economic cycles.
Dean Rushton
Chief Technical Officer
Dean is the Chief Technical Officer of YSC Partners and is responsible for executing the group’s technology strategies and developing our proprietary platforms.
Prior to joining YSC Partners, Dean was a technology leader for private and listed entities, delivering major technology transformation programs & platform builds.
He is an experienced CTO/COO, business integrator and business leader with 25 years’ experience in the Banking & Finance sector.
Neil Kumar
Investment Director
Neil is an Investment Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for providing commercial real estate capital solutions for individual, corporate and institutional sponsors.
Neil acted as the relationship executive for real estate funds (listed and unlisted), High Net Worth syndicates and some of Australia’s largest family offices with property exposures on both investment and construction facilities.
He has been in property finance for over 11-years, with 10-years in senior relationship roles with a major domestic bank.
JJ Mills
Investment Director
JJ is an Investment Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for providing commercial real estate capital solutions for individual, corporate and institutional sponsors.
Prior to joining YSC Partners, JJ held senior roles with the Bank of New Zealand and National Australia Bank in commercial property finance.
He has over 8 years of experience in property finance and has a proven track record of funding transactions having successfully arranged >$5bn in senior facilities.
Felicity Cornforth
General Counsel
Felicity is the General Counsel of YSC Partners and is responsible for managing all aspects of YSC Partners’ legal function. She is particularly focused on funds management, and structuring and execution of finance facilities for YSC Partners’ clients in addition to providing general corporate advice.
Felicity’s prior roles include private practice work in a top tier and a global law firm and in-house at two of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders.
Her extensive experience ranges from structuring commercial real estate and construction finance arrangements and leading large-scale acquisition finance transactions, to providing consumer credit and general corporate and commercial legal advice to business and leadership teams.
Mark Zanetic
Project Director
Mark reviews the construction risk elements of all pre-submission and active loan facilities, reporting to capital on construction updates and risks identified.
Mark was formerly a Development Manager at Mirvac, managing large scale development projects.
James O’Brien
Associate Director
James is an Associate Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for the efficient execution and management of active facilities, alongside operational support for the funds management business.
James has previously worked in asset management and analyst roles at Centuria Bass Credit and BDO Australia.
He has over 4 years of banking and finance experience, assisting small to institutional grade clients achieve their financing goals. During this time, James specialised in structuring bespoke funding solutions and ongoing asset management, most recently at a leading credit fund.
Raki Weerasundara
Associate Director
Raki is an Associate Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for the efficient execution and management of active facilities, alongside operational support for the funds management business.
Prior to joining YSC Partners, Raki was a Corporate Property Finance Associate at ANZ Commercial
Raki has been in the Lending Industry for 5 years, specialising in Property Finance transactions that range from Residential purchases to more large scale Commercial & Industrial Developments.
Cindy Bui
Associate Director
Cindy is an Associate Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for the efficient execution and management of active facilities, alongside operational support for the funds management business.
Cindy’s prior roles have been with our related company, Catalyst Advisers and at CBA.
She has over 5 years of banking and real estate experience.
Ray Foo
Associate Director
Ray is an Associate Director at YSC Partners and is responsible for the execution and management of active facilities, alongside of operational support for the funds management business.
Prior to joining YSC Partners, Ray worked as an Investment Analyst at PGIM Real Estate.
He has over 3-years of experience in commercial real estate across asset management and transactions. He has worked across the capital stack managing transactions and assets in various sectors including living, office, retail and industrial.
Christian McKelvey
Strategic Adviser
Christian was previously Group Head of Property at Pepper Group and Head of Grant Samuel Property. He was also a Director and Responsible Manager of the trustee of numerous private equity development and investment syndicates throughout Grant Samuel and Pepper Property and also resided on both the Executive Committees of the Pepper Group (ASX Code: PEP) and Grant Samuel.
Christian has nearly 30 years’ of experience in structuring and financing projects. Christian is the founder of Heritage Property Partners, an independent and strategic advisory group, with clients ranging from institutions and listed corporate entities, family offices and HNWs, and not-for-profit organisations.
Michael Forrest
Strategic Adviser
Michael specialises in commercial litigation, restructuring and corporate insolvency. He has acted for many of Australia’s largest financiers as well as private clients and corporates in that space.
He also has specialist expertise advising large corporates and boards of directors through a restructure and uses his prior experience acting for the major banks to ensure optimal outcomes for his clients.
Seil Kim
Executive Director
Seil is a qualified lawyer and public notary with a significant background in the investment management industry.
He is highly skilled in asset management, sophisticated transactions, debt & equity financing, investment advisory and corporate governance.
